Hailing from an Indian culture of Punjabi family and spending the other half of her life in a completely new culture of America this entire journey has been beautiful for the melodious singer Subhi. From the age of eight, she started to learn Hindustani Classical music. Her grandmother was a great admirer of music and always wanted her to be a good singer. Grandmother was also fond of music and used to listen and sing on daily basis; therefore Subhi is attached to the roots of music. Although there is no one who belongs from a musical background in her family, music has been an integral part of their lives.
